Davie Jones and The Manish Boys had a meeting with TV producer Barry Langford on Tuesday 13 October 1964.
The meeting took place at Regent Sound studio at 4 Denmark Street in central London, where the band had previously recorded two music sessions.
Langford was a friend of the band’s manager Leslie Conn. On 8 March 1965 the Manish Boys appeared on his BBC music TV show Gadzooks! It’s All Happening.
