Davie Jones and the Manish Boys performed at the Royal Star Hotel in Maidstone, Kent, on Saturday 14 November 1964.
Absent from this performance was the one of the band’s sax players, Paul Rodriguez.
The Royal Star Hotel had three ballrooms: the King’s Hall, Queen’s Hall, and Prince’s Hall. Situated on Pudding Lane, it was Maidstone’s premier music venue in the 1960s.
The hotel was later converted to the Royal Star Shopping Arcade.
