Davie Jones and the Manish Boys performed at the Hermitage Ballroom in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, on 9 January 1965.
It was their first live booking of 1965, and came the day after David Bowie’s 18th birthday.
The band’s van broke down en route to the venue, but they eventually arrived and were able to perform.
The Hermitage Ballroom was located at 20-21 Hermitage Road in Hitchin. It was later repurposed as a bar and restaurant.
