Davie Jones and the Manish Boys performed at the Royal Star Hotel in Maidstone, Kent, for the second time on Saturday 23 January 1965.
They had previously played at the venue on Saturday 14 November 1964.
The Manish Boys were second on the bill, and were supporting John L Watson & The Hummelflugs.
The Royal Star Hotel had three ballrooms: the King’s Hall, Queen’s Hall, and Prince’s Hall. Situated on Pudding Lane, it was Maidstone’s premier music venue in the 1960s, and was later converted to the Royal Star Shopping Arcade.
