Davie Jones and the Manish Boys performed at the Bromel Club in Bromley on Wednesday 10 March 1965.
The club was situated in Bromley Court Hotel on Bromley Hill, near to David Bowie’s family home.
The Bromel Club was initially a jazz venue, but in the 1960s hosted many top names from the pop and rock scene, including the Kinks, Moody Blues, Yardbirds, Cream, Pink Floyd, and the Jimi Hendrix Experience.
Bowie had previously performed at the venue with the Hooker Brothers, his short-lived group with schoolfriend George Underwood.
The Bromley Court Hotel was where Bowie parted ways with the Lower Third in January 1966.
