Davie Jones and the Manish Boys performed at the Trent Bridge Rowing Club in Nottingham, England, on Sunday 11 April 1965.
It was their first live booking in three weeks. Exasperated with the lack of gigs and money, and frustrated by continual problems with the band’s van, baritone sax player Woolf Byrne quit the Manish Boys after this show.
David Bowie performed with the Buzz at the Rowing Club on 5 March and 31 July 1966.
