David Bowie and the Buzz performed at the Rhodes Centre in Bishops Stortford on Saturday 30 July 1966.
They were supported by the U-No-Who. Bowie and the Buzz also performed at London’s Marquee Club on this date.
The Rhodes Centre was named after British imperialist Cecil Rhodes, who was born in one of the buildings. It was renamed South Mills Arts in 2020.
