David Bowie and the Buzz performed at King’s Hall, Aberystwyth, on Tuesday 11 October 1966. It was Bowie’s first show in Wales.
The Art Deco venue was built in 1934, and demolished in 1989. Bowie returned there on 3 May 1972 during the Ziggy Stardust Tour.
On this occasion he and the Buzz performed two sets, each lasting around 45 minutes, for which they were paid £50. The event was headlined by Unit Four Plus Two.
