David Bowie and the Buzz performed at the Catacomb in Eastbourne, East Sussex, on Friday 28 October.
They performed two sets, each lasting around 45 minutes, for which they were paid £35. This was their only appearance at the Catacomb, which was later renamed the Viking.

The Catacomb/Viking Club was in Seaside Road with the entrance in Queens Gardens. Before it was the Catacomb Club it was called Beggars roost.
Thanks Dave. I’ve put the map point on the intersection of Seaside and Queens, but if there’s a better location please let me know!
