David Bowie and the Riot Squad performed at the Shakespeare Hotel in Woolwich, London, on Friday 31 March 1967.
During the 1950s and 60s the venue was a jazz club run by George Webb. The pub, situated at 12 Powis Street, closed in the early 21s century and was converted into an amusement arcade.
