David Bowie took part in a photo shoot on the evening of 7 May 1968.
The shoot took place at 39 Manchester Street, London, the home of his manager Kenneth Pitt.
The photographs, taken by Pitt, were intended to promote Bowie’s appearance at London’s Royal Festival Hall on 3 June 1968 and other forthcoming mime performances.
