David Bowie’s fourth day on the set of The Virgin Soldiers took place on 1 November 1968.
The shoot took place at Twickenham Film Studios in London. Bowie had a role as an extra, and appeared in the finished film during a bar scene. He had started work on the set on 29 October, and his final day was 4 November 1968.
The Virgin Soldiers went on general release in October 1969. It was directed by John Dexter and starred Lynn Redgrave, Hywel Bennett, Nigel Davenport, and Nigel Patrick.
