David Bowie and John ‘Hutch’ Hutchinson performed at Falmer House at the University of Sussex on 11 February 1969.
Bowie had recently split up with Hermione Farthingale, which spelt the end of the trio Feathers. This was the first of several dates Bowie did with Hutch.
The duo performed a number of songs from Feathers’ repertoire, plus Bowie’s recent composition ‘Space Oddity’.
