David Bowie performed at the Ripley Arts Centre in Bromley on 26 November 1969.
This was billed as a Growth event, and was put on under the umbrella of the Beckenham Arts Lab, the organisation that Bowie had co-founded in May 1969. The Lab normally put on events on Sundays at the Three Tuns pub in Beckenham, but occasionally branched out further afield.
