David Bowie performed at Beckenham’s Three Tuns pub on 14 December 1969.
This was a Beckenham Arts Lab event. Bowie had co-founded the organisation, and had appeared often at the pub since 4 May 1969.
Although his interest in the Arts Lab had begun to wane towards the end of 1969, he still appeared fairly regularly at the events.
