The seventh recording session for David Bowie’s third album The Man Who Sold The World took place on 1 May 1970.
The session began at 9pm and ended at 2am the following morning. It took place at London’s Trident Studios, with Tony Visconti producing.
Around this time a master tape from the album sessions was compiled. It listed three songs, the first of which was a working title for ‘She Shook Me Cold’: ‘Suck’; ‘Suck’ (edit section); ‘Door’.
