David Bowie performed at London’s Roundhouse on 5 July 1970.
Although billed as a solo artist, he was backed by Hype: guitarist Mick Ronson, bassist Tony Visconti, and drummer Mick ‘Woody’ Woodmansey.
Bowie topped the bill, and was supported by Country Joe McDonald, Idle Race, Roger Ruskin Spear and his Giant Kinetic Wardrobe, Quiver, James Litherland’s Brotherhood, and Medicine Head. Jeff Dexter was the DJ and compere.
