David Bowie and the Spiders From Mars performed at Bournemouth’s Chelsea Village on 25 May 1972.
It was the 29th date of the Ziggy Stardust Tour, which had begun on 29 January. On this occasion Bowie shared a bill with radio DJ Emperor Rosko.
The tour had previously called at the Chelsea Village on 14 March. It returned to Bournemouth’s Winter Gardens precisely one year after this date, on 25 May 1973.
