David Bowie and the Spiders From Mars performed at Torquay’s Rainbow Pavilion on 2 July 1972.
It was the 44th date of the Ziggy Stardust Tour, which had begun on 29 January. The support act on this occasion was the JSD Band.
The tour had previously visited Torquay’s Town Hall on 16 June 1972. There were two more shows there on 16 June 1973. This, however, was Bowie’s only show at the Rainbow Pavilion.
