David Bowie and the Spiders From Mars performed at The Warehouse in New Orleans on 22 November 1972.
It was the 76th date of the Ziggy Stardust Tour, which had begun on 29 January 1972.
The support act was for this show was Les Moore, a late replacement for the billed act White Witch.
This was Bowie’s second show in New Orleans in little over a week, following a performance at Loyola University on 14 November. Although critically acclaimed, tickets for the shows around this time often failed to sell well. Bowie’s manager Tony Defries tried in vain to fill the touring schedule, resulting in numerous rest days for the band and crew.
