David Bowie and the Spiders From Mars performed at Pittsburgh’s Stanley Theatre on 28 November 1972.
It was the 79th date of the Ziggy Stardust Tour, which had begun on 29 January 1972. The support act for this show was local band Twheet Twheet.
In 1987 the venue reopened as the Benedum Center. Bowie returned there on 17 May 2004 during A Reality Tour.
