David Bowie and the Spiders From Mars performed at Newcastle’s City Hall on 7 January 1973.
It was the 89th date of the Ziggy Stardust Tour, which had begun on 29 January 1972. The support acts were Fumble and Stealers Wheel.
Bowie had performed at City Hall with the Manish Boys on 5 December 1964. The Ziggy tour also called there on 2 June 1972, and 8 June and 30 June 1973.
He performed there again with Iggy Pop on 2 March 1977, and on the Isolar II Tour on 14, 15, and 16 June 1978.
