David Bowie and the Spiders From Mars finished recording Aladdin Sane on 24 January 1973.
The final sessions took place at London’s Trident Studios from 20-24 January, after which Bowie set sail for America to continue the Ziggy Stardust Tour.
The last session involved Bowie adding vocals to ‘Aladdin Sane’, plus overdubs for ‘Panic In Detroit’.
