David Bowie and the Spiders From Mars performed at Nashville’s War Memorial Auditorium on 23 February 1973.
It was the 97th date of the Ziggy Stardust tour, which had begun on 29 January 1972. The support act was Fumble.
This was Bowie’s only show at the War Memorial Auditorium, although he had performed at the city’s Municipal Auditorium on 20 November 1972. He returned there on 29 June and 30 November 1974 during the Diamond Dogs Tour, on 7 March 1976 for the Isolar Tour, and 13 April 1978 during the Isolar II Tour.
