In March 1973 David Bowie travelled from the USA to Japan aboard the SS Oronsay, stopping en route in San Francisco, Vancouver, and Hawaii.
On 23 March the ship left Vancouver to its next stop, Hawaii, arriving in Honolulu on 28 March before departing the following morning for Yokohama.
