David Bowie gave an interview to the BBC Radio 1 show Scene And Heard on 11 May 1973.
Bowie had recently returned to the UK following tours in the USA and Japan, and was about to embark on the final stretch of the lengthy Ziggy Stardust Tour.
The interview was conducted by the BBC’s Stuart Grundy.
