David Bowie and the Spiders From Mars performed two shows at Guildford’s Civic Hall on 27 May 1973.
It was the 122nd date of the Ziggy Stardust Tour, which had begun on 29 January 1972.
Two shows, both good ones; I saw folk singer Mike Absalom at the gig, and he had brought his girlfriend along with him to say hello. Coincidentally Mike had been a friend of both David’s in London, and mine in Scarborough. It’s a small world, the music world.
