David Bowie saw the Jackson Five perform at New York’s Madison Square Garden on 27 July 1974.
He saw the support band, the Ohio Players, from the wings of the stage. Bowie had recently become a fan, and had performed their song ‘Here Today, Gone Tomorrow’ during some of the Diamond Dogs Tour shows.
