Iggy Pop performed at Chicago’s Riviera Theatre on 27 March 1977.
It was the 17th date of The Idiot Tour, for which David Bowie played keyboards. The other band members were Ricky Gardiner on guitar, Tony Sales on bass guitar, and Hunt Sales on drums.
They returned for a second show the following evening. Blondie was the support act for both dates.
Bowie and the Sales brothers performed at the Riviera Theatre again on 7 December 1991 during Tin Machine’s It’s My Life Tour.
