David Bowie rehearsed at the Forest National in Brussels, Belgium, on 16 May 1983, ahead of the Serious Moonlight Tour.
It was first of two consecutive days of rehearsals at the venue, also known as the Vorst Nationaal. The tour opened on 18 May 1983.
Bowie’s guitarists were Carlos Alomar and Earl Slick. Dave Lebolt was on keyboards and synthesizers, and Steve Elson, Stan Harrison, Lenny Pickett played saxophones. Carmine Rojas played bass guitar and Tony Thompson was on drums and percussion. George and Frank Simms were the backing singers.
Bowie had previously performed there on 11 May 1976 during the Isolar Tour, and on 11 and 12 June 1978 for the Isolar II Tour.
He returned on 20 and 21 April 1990 for the Sound+Vision Tour, and 27 January 1996 for the Outside Tour.
