David Bowie performed at the Montreal Forum in Montreal, Canada, on 12 July 1983, as part of the Serious Moonlight Tour.
It was the 32nd date of the tour, which began on 18 May in Brussels.
Bowie’s guitarists were Carlos Alomar and Earl Slick. Dave Lebolt was on keyboards and synthesizers, and Steve Elson, Stan Harrison, Lenny Pickett played saxophones. Carmine Rojas played bass guitar and Tony Thompson was on drums and percussion. George and Frank Simms were the backing singers.
This was the first of two consecutive nights at the Forum. Bowie had first played there on 14 June 1974, for the first date of the Diamond Dogs Tour, and returned on 25 February 1976 during the Isolar II Tour, and on 3 May 1978 as part of the Isolar II Tour.
He performed there for a final time on 6 March 1990, during the Sound+Vision Tour.
