David Bowie performed at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, Canada, on 12 September 1983, as part of the Serious Moonlight Tour.
It was the 71st date of the tour, which began on 18 May in Brussels, and the second of two consecutive nights at the Coliseum.
Bowie’s guitarists were Carlos Alomar and Earl Slick. Dave Lebolt was on keyboards and synthesizers, and Steve Elson, Stan Harrison, Lenny Pickett played saxophones. Carmine Rojas played bass guitar and Tony Thompson was on drums and percussion. George and Frank Simms were the backing singers.
Bowie had previously performed at the Pacific Coliseum on 2 February 1976, the opening night of the Isolar Tour. He returned for a final night on 15 March 1990 during the Sound+Vision Tour.
