David Bowie began his Glass Spider Tour with a show at the Stadion Feijenoord in Rotterdam on 30 May 1987.
Bowie’s guitarists were Carlos Alomar and Peter Frampton. Erdal Kızılçay played keyboards, trumpet, congas, and violin, and Richard Cottle was on keyboards, saxophone, and tambourine. Carmine Rojas played bass guitar and Alan Childs was on drums and percussion.
This was the first of two consecutive nights at the Stadion Feijenoord. Bowie had previously performed there on 25 and 26 June 1983 during the Serious Moonlight Tour.
