David Bowie performed at the NEC Arena in Birmingham, England, on 19 March 1990, as part of the Sound+Vision Tour.
This was the eighth date of the tour, which began on 4 March in Quebec City, and the first of two consecutive nights at NEC.
Bowie’s guitarist was Adrian Belew, who was also the musical director. Erdal Kızılçay played bass guitar, Rick Fox was on keyboards, and Michael Hodges was on drums.
Bowie had previously played the NEC on 5 and 6 June 1983 during the Serious Moonlight Tour.
He returned there on 20 and 21 November and 13 December 1995 for the Outside Tour, and 19 and 20 November 2003 for A Reality Tour.
