David Bowie performed at Frankfurt’s Festhalle on 5 April 1990, as part of the Sound+Vision Tour.
This was the 18th date of the tour, which began on 4 March in Quebec City.
Bowie’s guitarist was Adrian Belew, who was also the musical director. Erdal Kızılçay played bass guitar, Rick Fox was on keyboards, and Michael Hodges was on drums.
Bowie had previously performed at the Festhalle on 13 April 1976 during the Isolar Tour, 14 May 1978 during the Isolar II Tour, and 20 May 1983 for the Serious Moonlight Tour. He returned there on 31 January 1996 for the Outside Tour, and 18 October 2003 for A Reality Tour.
