David Bowie performed at Berlin’s Deutschlandhalle on 8 April 1990, as part of the Sound+Vision Tour.
This was the 20th date of the tour, which began on 4 March in Quebec City.
Bowie’s guitarist was Adrian Belew, who was also the musical director. Erdal Kızılçay played bass guitar, Rick Fox was on keyboards, and Michael Hodges was on drums.
Bowie had previously performed at the Deutschlandhalle on 10 April 1976 during the Isolar Tour, and 16 May 1978 during the Isolar II Tour.
Bowie returned for a fourth and final time on 1 February 1996 during the Outside Tour. The Deutschlandhalle was demolished in December 2011.
