David Bowie performed at the Dean Smith Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, on 9 May 1990, as part of the Sound+Vision Tour.
This was the 35th date of the tour, which began on 4 March in Quebec City.
Bowie’s guitarist was Adrian Belew, who was also the musical director. Erdal Kızılçay played bass guitar, Rick Fox was on keyboards, and Michael Hodges was on drums.
Bowie had previously performed at the Dean Smith Center on 6 and 7 September 1987 during the Glass Spider Tour.
