It was the 32nd night of the It’s My Life Tour, which began on 5 October 1991 in Milan.
The performance of ‘I Can’t Read’ from this night was released on the 1992 album Tin Machine Live: Oy Vey, Baby.
Tin Machine were David Bowie on vocals, guitar, and saxophone, Reeves Gabrels on guitar and vocals, Tony Sales on bass guitar and vocals, and Hunt Sales on drums and vocals. They were joined on this tour by Eric Schermerhorn on rhythm guitar and vocals.
Bowie returned to the Orpheum Theater on 30 September and 1 October 1997 during the Earthling Tour, and 23 October 2002 for the Heathen Tour.
