David Bowie performed at Escalarre in Lleida, Spain, on 12 July 1996, as part of the Outside Tour.
This show, part of the Doctor Music Festival, was the 88th date of the tour, which began on 14 September in Hartford, USA. Below Bowie on the day’s bill were Suede, Echobelly, Moby, and The Shamen. The three-day festival’s other headliners were Blur and Lou Reed.
Bowie’s guitarist was Reeves Gabrels, and Mike Garson played piano and keyboards. Gail Ann Dorsey was on bass guitar, and Zack Alford played the drums.
