David Bowie appeared at the NetAid concert at London’s Wembley Stadium on 9 October 1999.
It was the second show of the nine-date Hours Tour, which lasted from August to December 1999.
NetAid was an anti-poverty initiative. There were concerts on 9 October at Wembley Stadium, Giants Stadium in New Jersey, and the Palais des Nations in Geneva.
Also performing at the Wembley show were Eurythmics, The Corrs, Catatonia, Bush, Bryan Adams, George Michael, Stereophonics, and Robbie Williams.
Bowie had previously performed at Wembley Stadium on 19 and 20 June 1987 during the Glass Spider Tour, and on 20 April 1992 for The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert.
