David Bowie performed at Munich’s Olympiahalle on 29 September 2002, as part of the Heathen Tour.
It was the 27th date of the tour, which began on 29 November at London’s Royal Festival Hall.
Earl Slick was on guitar, Gerry Leonard played guitar and keyboards, and Mark Plati played guitar, bass guitar, and keyboards. Gail Ann Dorsey was on bass guitar, guitar, and backing vocals, and Mike Garson played keyboards. Sterling Campbell was on drums, and Catherine Russell played keyboards and percussion and sang backing vocals.
Bowie had previously performed at the Olympiahalle on 7 April 1976 during the Isolar Tour, 20 May 1978 during the Isolar II Tour, 21 and 22 May 1983 for the Serious Moonlight Tour, and 10 April 1990 for the Sound+Vision Tour.
His final show there was on 27 October 2003 during A Reality Tour.
