David Bowie performed at Jimmy’s Bronx Cafe in the Bronx, New York City, USA, on 17 October 2002, as part of the Heathen Tour.
It was the 32nd date of the tour, which began on 29 November at London’s Royal Festival Hall. This was night four of what was known as the New York City Marathon, in which Bowie performed in each of the five boroughs.
Earl Slick was on guitar, Gerry Leonard played guitar and keyboards, and Mark Plati played guitar, bass guitar, and keyboards. Gail Ann Dorsey was on bass guitar, guitar, and backing vocals, and Mike Garson played keyboards. Sterling Campbell was on drums, and Catherine Russell played keyboards and percussion and sang backing vocals.
