David Bowie performed at the Orpheum Theater in Boston, Massachusetts, on 23 October 2002, as part of the Heathen Tour.
It was the 35th and final date of the tour, which began on 29 November at London’s Royal Festival Hall.
Earl Slick was on guitar, Gerry Leonard played guitar and keyboards, and Mark Plati played guitar, bass guitar, and keyboards. Gail Ann Dorsey was on bass guitar, guitar, and backing vocals, and Mike Garson played keyboards. Sterling Campbell was on drums, and Catherine Russell played keyboards and percussion and sang backing vocals.
Bowie had previously performed at the Orpheum Theater on 20 November 1991 during Tin Machine’s It’s My Life Tour, and on 30 September and 1 October 1997 during the Earthling Tour.
